FAQ

How is Microcurrent different from a TENS machine?

TENS devices deliver milliamp current and block pain messages that are trying to get up the spine to the brain. My device uses Frequency Specific Microcurrent that is 1,000 times less than milli-amperage current, which has been shown in published studies to increase ATP production in tissues.

How many sessions will I need?

It really depends on the person and the condition. Generally 1-2 times per week for a few weeks to provide lasting benefits. A treatment plan will be discussed at your first appointment.

How soon will I see improvement?

Again, it really depends on the person and the condition. Many people notice immediate improvement the day of their first session. Other people take a few sessions before they feel a benefit.

What happens at a session?

At your initial appointment, we will discuss all your health concerns and what you are hoping to achieve. I will then create a protocol tailored to you. My goal is to help you heal, and encourage your body back to homeostasis. Your body does its best healing when it is relaxed!

What else should I know?

Please come to your appointment well hydrated. Drink at least 16oz of water before your session, preferably with added electrolytes - a pinch of celtic sea salt and fresh lemon juice squeezed into your water is ideal, but not necessary. I also ask that you drink another 16oz after your session.

Please note that at this time I only take cash payments. A receipt will be provided upon request.

How does Microcurrent work?

Keep in mind that the body is electric, as are your cells. The cells in your body communicate with each other through electric current - microcurrent. We know that inflammation causes pain and illness, and that inflammation becomes a blockage to communication within your body. Microcurrent resolves that blockage, allowing your cells to communicate with each other and your body to heal.
